Princess was promoted to fourth grade and continues to live with her stepmother. Her favorite subject is English, and she still dreams of becoming a doctor one day. With less than 500 doctors serving a population of 4.5 million people, Liberian households often experience fatalities due to treatable illnesses. Children aspiring to become doctors is a worthy cause. Sponsored by: Scott Heise
Meet Princess, who has been generously sponsored by Scott Heise. She is 8 years old and in the 1st grade this year. Princess lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with her stepmother. Princess’ mother has a terminal illness, and she has been unable to take care of Princess and her 4 siblings. The children were given out to different family members to raise. Princess’ father’s ex-wife had taken Princess to raise. The lady ill-treats Princess but unfortunately, there is no other family member that has space to take Princess. She had been on the GPA waiting list for one year and now it’s finally her time for her dreams to be supported. Her interests are eating and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
