Princess was promoted to fourth grade and continues to live with her stepmother. Her favorite subject is English, and she still dreams of becoming a doctor one day. With less than 500 doctors serving a population of 4.5 million people, Liberian households often experience fatalities due to treatable illnesses. Thanks to the generous donation from Scott Heise, Princess has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 3rd grade this year! We are sad to announce, Princess’ biological mother passed away this year. She’s lived a difficult life in her short 10 years of life, but she is one strong girl. We are proud and honored to support her dreams of being a doctor one day. She continues to live with her ex-stepmother.

Princess was promoted to the 2nd grade! Thanks to the generous donation from Scott Heise, Princess has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. Her favorite subject is reading and her teacher reports her confidence has increased a lot. She still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She continues to live with her ex-stepmother.

Meet Princess, who has been generously sponsored by Scott Heise. She is 8 years old and in the 1st grade this year. Princess lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with her stepmother. Princess’ mother has a terminal illness, and she has been unable to take care of Princess and her 4 siblings. The children were given out to different family members to raise. Princess’ father’s ex-wife had taken Princess to raise. The lady ill-treats Princess but unfortunately, there is no other family member that has space to take Princess. She had been on the GPA waiting list for one year and now it’s finally her time for her dreams to be supported. Her interests are eating and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
