PRINCESS: S292-GBO

2025

This year, Princess remained in the sixth grade after facing a serious illness at the beginning of the school year. She was very sick for about a month and a half, and despite her efforts, she was not able to fully catch up with her lessons. Because of this, her teachers decided it would be best for her to repeat the grade to strengthen her learning. Although this was disappointing, Princess has promised she will work hard and pass this year. Princess still comes from a very humble home, where she continues to help her mother with cooking, fetching water, and caring for her younger siblings after school. Her favorite subject remains health science, and she still dreams of learning how to care for others. Even through this setback, Princess remains grateful for the support that allows her to stay in school. Her determination and positive spirit show that she is ready to keep trying and move forward with confidence. Sponsored by:  Joyce Jorgensen

Princess received a double promotion this year, moving from the 4th grade straight to the 6th grade. Despite coming from one of the poorest families, Princess continues to make incredible strides in her education. Her favorite subject is health science, and she’s passionate about learning how to care for others. After school, she helps her mom with the cooking, fetching water, and taking care of her younger siblings. Though she once struggled to find time for homework, her teachers now say that she is blossoming. You can see it in her work and even in her photos—Princess is growing more confident and focused every day. We are incredibly proud of Princess. Her determination, hard work, and positive attitude show just how bright her future is, and we are honored to support her education.Sponsored by:  Joyce Jorgensen

Princess was promoted to third grade.  She is fourteen years old and live with her extended family. Thank you for walking alongside Princess who was orphaned through the death of her father and later abandoned by her mother.  It is not easy to live in an extended family household as many of the household heads are struggling with providing for their own family while also trying to care for their stranded relatives. Princess is thankful for this opportunity. Sponsored by: Joyce Jorgensen

Meet Princess, who has been generously sponsored by Eeyore.  She is 9 years old and in Kindergarten-1 this year.  She lives in Gbobayee, Liberia with her aunt. After the death of Princess’ father 3 years ago, her mother abandoned Princess and sister. The mother has not been heard from since. Princess and her sister are very close and do everything together. She hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
