PRINCE: S226-SAN

November

2023

Prince has advanced to the sixth grade, a significant achievement that fills him with pride and inspires us with admiration. In our interview, he expressed his dedication to honoring the memory of his late father, his loving mother, his sponsor, and the entire Girl Power Africa community by working diligently in school.

Prince also shared his heartfelt desire to alleviate his mother’s burdens, recognizing her tireless efforts to provide for their family. He dreams of one day becoming a doctor, driven by his compassionate nature and a deep-seated aspiration to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Residing with his mother, Prince embodies resilience and determination as he continues to pursue his dreams while honoring his family’s legacy. His unwavering commitment to his goals serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for those around him.

Prince was promoted to fifth grade and has been re-enrolled into school for the 2022/2023 school year.  He continues to live with his mother and hopes to be a doctor one day. With less than 500 doctors serving a population of 4.5 million people, Liberian households often experience fatalities due to treatable illnesses.  Children aspiring to become doctors is a worthy cause. We are honored to walk alongside Prince as he pursues his hopes and dreams.  Sponsored by: Joyce Jorgensen

Meet Prince, who has been generously sponsored by Rita Eisenhauer. He is 9 years old and is in the 1st grade this year. He lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with his mother. Prince’s father, who was the breadwinner in the family, passed away 2 years ago. Since his death, their mother has been struggling to support her and her children. He hopes to be a doctor when he grows up.
