Peterson is now 23 years old and has been promoted to the 12th grade this year—his final year of high school. Reaching this milestone is something he once only dreamed about. Today, it is becoming a reality. With deep emotion, Peterson asked that we send a huge thank you to his sponsors for helping him make it this far. He shared that graduating from high school is something he never truly believed would be possible for him—but he always hoped it would be. Peterson continues to be a hardworking and determined young man. In his spare time, he buys plastic slippers and sells them so he can support himself while attending school. The small profit he makes helps him feed himself and meet his basic needs. His entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to work hard reflect his maturity and perseverance. When asked what he plans to do after graduation, Peterson answered honestly. He said he is unsure because he cannot currently afford college. However, he plans to continue selling slippers to sustain himself, and if an opportunity to attend college ever becomes available, he would gladly pursue it. No matter what the future holds, he is grateful—beyond grateful—for the opportunity to have been part of Girl Power Africa and to have made it all the way to 12th grade. Despite the tremendous losses he experienced last year, including the passing of his mother and two uncles, Peterson has remained strong. His resilience, leadership, and dedication continue to inspire those around him. Standing on the edge of graduation, Peterson represents hope, perseverance, and the life-changing impact of education. Thank you for walking alongside him all the way to this incredible milestone. Sponsored by: Bijou Lab LLC
