This year, we were unable to meet with Peter during school registration, as they were either out of town, sick, or facing circumstances that prevented them from attending. Even so, their school fees were paid, and all of their school materials were given to the school staff to ensure they receive everything as soon as they return. Because the student was not present on registration day, we were unable to take an updated photo for 2025. Meet Peter, who has been generously sponsored by Peter Meagher. He is 11 years old and is in the 1st grade this year. He lives in Gehwee Town, Liberia with his grandmother. Peter’s grandmother is unemployed and could not afford to send him to school on a regular basis.  Peter helps out around the house by drawing water from the well for baths and food every morning and night for his family. His interests are playing soccer and he hopes to be a teacher when he grows up.
