2024
Pauline was not promoted this year due to a lack of support at home to help her study. However, she is determined to turn things around and has promised herself to pass this year by seeking help from her friends with her studies. Pauline still enjoys writing, drawing, and playing with her friends, and school remains her favorite part of the day. She continues to live with her uncle and holds onto her dream of becoming a teacher when she grows up. Sponsored by: Patty Glennon

Thanks to the generous donation from Patty Glennon, Pauline has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020-2021 school year. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021-2022 school year. Pauline was kept in her current grade level of ABC grade for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her uncle and still wants to be a teacher when she grows up.

Meet Pauline, who has been generously sponsored by Marcy Wolmutt. She is 5 years old and is going to school for the first in ABC. She lives in Gbayden, Liberia with her uncle and his family. Pauline had been living with her single mother until about a year ago when her mother had gotten seriously sick and was given to her unemployed uncle to live. Her interests are playing with friends and she hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
