September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Joyce Jorgensen, Pauline has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the K2 grade this year and still wants to be a midwife when she grows up. She continues to live with her father.

September 2020:  Meet Pauline, who has been generously sponsored by Joyce Jorgensen on behalf of the estate of Dennis Valstad. She is 8 years old and is in the K-1 grade this year. She lives in Sehyi Geh, Liberia with her father. The mother abandoned them because she had someone else who was ready to marry her. Her interests are to help cook and she hopes to be a midwife when she grows up.
