We are pleased to announce that Patricia was promoted to the K-2 for the 2018/2019 school year. She is a role model to both her classmates and her siblings. In school, she is known to make sure her classmates understand-otherwise she’ll sit with them to help. At home, she helps cook, clean, and takes care of her 4 brothers and sisters. Patricia is more than deserving of this scholarship. Sara Harris, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education through Girl Power Africa.

Meet Patricia, who has been generously sponsored by Sara Harris.  She is 9 years old and in kindergarten-1 this year.  Patricia lives in Sopea, Liberia with her mother.  After the death of Patricia’s father, who died from a snake bite, her unemployed widowed mother has been having a difficult time supporting she and her 5 children. Patricia hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
