Othello has been promoted to the second grade this year and continues to show dedication and determination in his studies. He still lives with his grandmother, who provides for him despite many challenges, and Othello is motivated every day by a desire to make her proud. After school, Othello goes to the creek with his friends to fetch water, bringing it home so his grandmother can cook. His days are filled with responsibility, but he embraces them with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Othello’s dream is to take care of his grandmother and ensure she never has to struggle again. He is extremely grateful for the opportunity to attend school, and his determination to learn and succeed inspires everyone around him.

Meet Othello, an 11-year-old boy with big dreams. Two years ago, Othello’s life changed forever when he lost his mother during childbirth. Since then, he has been living with his grandmother.
