Thanks to the generous donation from Rajesh Kumar, Oretha has been re-enrolled in school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the Kindergarten-1 grade this year and still wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She now lives with her father. (Please Note: Oretha was out of town on the day of the 2020/2021 school distribution. Her materials were left with the school authorities).

Meet Oretha, who has been generously sponsored by Rajesh Kumar. She is 5 years old and is going to school for the first time this year in ABC. Oretha lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with her grandmother. Oretha’s parents are divorced. After the divorce, her father took Oretha as the mother did not want the responsibility of raising a child, because she wanted to go back to school to complete her high school education. Although Oretha’s mother graduated 2 years ago from high school, she has never returned for Oretha. She is very thankful for her grandmother. She hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
