MONIKA: S221-SAN

September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Pam Albi, Monika has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. He was promoted to the 4th grade this year and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

September 2020: Thanks to the generous donation from Pam Albi, Monika has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She was not present during registration but her materials were left with administration to be given upon her return. She is in the 3rd grade this year and still wants to be a cook when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

October 2019: Thanks to the generous donation from Pam Albi, Monika has been re-enrolled into school for the 2019-2020 school year. 

June 2019: We are pleased to announce that Monika was promoted to the 2nd grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Christine, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education through Girl Power Africa.

2018:  Meet Monika, who has been generously sponsored by Christine Weigt. She is 10 years old and in the 1st grade this year. She lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with her mother. About 4 years ago, Monika’s father went to the gold mines in search of opportunity to come and support his family. Since he left, the family have not heard from him. Their mother is struggling to support her and her 4 children. Monika hopes to be a cook when she grows up.
