Foley was promoted to the second grade! He has been re-enrolled into school for the 2022/2023 school year. He is twelve years old and his favorite subject is math. Foley was promoted to the 1st grade! Thanks to the generous donation from Mary Ann Krueger, Foley has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. He still wants to be a doctor when he grows up. With less than 500 doctors serving a population of 4.5 million people, Liberian households often experience fatalities due to treatable illnesses. Children aspiring to become doctors is a worthy cause. GPA is honored to walk alongside Foley and encourage his dream of becoming a doctor. Foley continues to live with his father.

Meet Foley, who has been generously sponsored by Mary Ann Krueger. He is 7 years old and is going to school for the first time this year, in ABC. He lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with his father, who is a domestic worker making about $35 per month. He couldn’t afford to send Foley and his 2 siblings to school. Foley hopes to be a doctor when he grows up.
