September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Mary Struckmeyer, Jefferson has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. He was promoted to the 4th grade this year and still wants to be a teacher when he grows up. He continues to live with his parents.
September 2020: Thanks to the generous donation from Mary Struckmeyer, Jefferson has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. He is in 3rd grade this year and still wants to be a teacher when he grows up. He continues to live with his mother and father. (Please Note: Jefferson was out of town on the day of the 2020-2021 school distribution. His materials were left with the school authorities).

2018: Meet Jefferson, who has been generously sponsored by Mary Struckmeyer. He is 9 years old and in the 1st grade this year. He lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with his parents. Jefferson’s parents have very limited income and have not been able to afford to send he and his siblings to school on a regular basis. Jefferson hopes to be a teacher when he grows up.
