Mercy has been promoted to the 2rd grade and continues to dream of becoming a doctor. She still lives with her parents and has a great sense of humor, often making those around her laugh. Mercy has been promoted to the first grade and continues to dream of becoming a doctor. She still lives with her parents. Mercy is quite the comedian, often making us laugh. Recently, she had us laughing while describing how she feels when she comes home from school to find her mom has made her favorite dish, Torbogee Stew with rice. Meet seven-year-old Mercy, she wants to be a doctor one day.  She lives in Dewoblee, Liberia with her parents and six siblings.  She loves helping her mother with household or gardening chores.  Mercy’s favorite dish is torbogee stew with rice.  Torbogee is a pungent, fermented stew made with a variety of vegetable and meat options.
