Thanks to the generous donation from Beta Sigma PHI Wisconsin Epsilon Zeta Madison Chapter, Mercy has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 4th grade this year and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. Mercy continues to live with her parents.

Thanks to the generous donation from Beta Sigma PHI Wisconsin Epsilon Zeta Madison Chapter, Mercy has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the 3rd grade this year and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. With less than 500 doctors serving a population of 4.5 million people, Liberian households often experience fatalities due to treatable illnesses. Children aspiring to become doctors is a worthy cause. Mercy continues to live with her mother and father.

She is doing great in school Her favorite pastime is cooking for her family and her favorite dish is torbogee stew with rice. Torbogee is a pungent, fermented stew made with a variety of vegetable and meat options. She lives in Sanniquellie with her mother and father. Her interests are playing with dolls and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
