Thanks to the generous donation from Beta Sigma PHI Wisconsin Epsilon Zeta Madison Chapter, Mercy has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 4th grade this year and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. Mercy continues to live with her parents.

Thanks to the generous donation from Beta Sigma PHI Wisconsin Epsilon Zeta Madison Chapter, Mercy has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the 3rd grade this year and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. With less than 500 doctors serving a population of 4.5 million people, Liberian households often experience fatalities due to treatable illnesses. Children aspiring to become doctors is a worthy cause. Mercy continues to live with her mother and father.

Twelve-year-old Mercy is now in 1st grade! She has been generously re-sponsored by Stacy Peters. She is doing great in school Her favorite pastime is cooking for her family and her favorite dish is torbogee stew with rice. Torbogee is a pungent, fermented stew made with a variety of vegetable and meat options. She lives in Sanniquellie with her mother and father. Her interests are playing with dolls and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
