Mercy’s school year was a success as she advanced to the sixth grade, holding tight to her dream of one day becoming a doctor. With a love for reading fueling her academic pursuits, Mercy stands out as a compassionate and helpful student, often staying behind after school to lend a hand to her peers. Beyond the classroom, she shoulders the responsibility of caring for her siblings while her parents work, showcasing her maturity and dedication to family. As Mercy continues to navigate the challenges of both school and home life, her unwavering determination sets the stage for a future filled with promise and purpose.

Twelve-year-old Mercy is now in 1st grade! She has been generously re-sponsored by Stacy Peters. She is doing great in school Her favorite pastime is cooking for her family and her favorite dish is torbogee stew with rice.  Torbogee is a pungent, fermented stew made with a variety of vegetable and meat options. She lives in Sanniquellie with her mother and father. Her interests are playing with dolls and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
