MARIE: S299-NEW

November

2023

We are absolutely thrilled about Marie’s achievements this year! She has been promoted to the fourth grade, and we couldn’t be prouder. Her determination and hard work have paid off, and we are excited to see her continue to excel. She remains grateful for another year of school, thanks to the sponsorship of Jennifer Parker. Marie continues to dream of becoming a tailor one day, and with her dedication, we have no doubt she will achieve her goals.

Marie was retained in third grade.  It is not clear why she was retained.  At sixteen years old she is still determined to graduate from high school, and she is determined to get a double promotion this school year.  Marie is thankful for the gift of a scholarship. She still wants to be a tailor one day. Sponsored by: Jennifer Parker

Meet Marie (who is extremely camera shy), who has been generously sponsored by Ken Rahn (as a birthday gift for Jolene McNamee Ibeling and Charmaine Pellitterie). She is 11 years old and is in the kindergarten-1 this year. Marie’s mother died about 4 years ago. She was her mom’s pride and joy. She went everywhere with her mom. Marie was born blind and about 2 years ago she began to see. She is living with her unemployed grandmother, who could not afford to send her to school. Marie hopes to be a tailor when she grows up. She enjoys the textures of fabrics and dressing up.
