PROMISE: S300-SAN

June 2019: We are pleased to announce that Promise was promoted to the 2nd grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Mignon, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education through Girl Power Africa.

2018:  Meet Promise, who has been generously sponsored by Mignon Coyne-Uselman. She is 15 years old and in the 1st grade this year. She lives in Sanniquillie, Liberia with her Aunt. Promise’s parents are divorced. The father has no contact with the kids. Her mother has 5 children whom she is unable to support nor send to school. Promise was given to aunt to help “lessen” her mother’s load. She hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
