Lorina is nine years old and in kindergarten class. She lives with her parents and a large extended household of 20 persons. Lorina wants to be a police officer one day. Lorina helps out with babysitting her younger siblings while mom is doing the farming work. Several school age children in her large extended family are not in school because the subsistence farming income cannot extend to cover tuition and fees charges.
