Thanks to the generous donation from Doris Keyes, Lewise has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020/2021 school year.  Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021/2022 school year. Lewise was kept in her current grade level of K-2 grade for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her aunt and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up.

Meet Lewise, who has been generously sponsored by Brittany Meyers. She is 8 years old and is in the K-2 grade this year. She lives in New Yekepa Town, Liberia with her aunt. She was abandoned by her mother when she was 4 years old and was living with her father.  Her father died in a car accident 9 months ago.  Her interests are help save lives and she hope to be a doctor when she grows up.
