Justina is now in the third grade and has returned to live with her grandmother. Over the past year, she had been sent to live with another family in a different town because her grandmother could no longer afford to care for her. Unfortunately, that situation was very difficult for Justina, and she made the brave decision to return home to her grandmother. Even though her grandmother loves her dearly, she is not able to provide for Justina’s schooling. When Justina learned that the program would be in town, she came right away, hoping for the chance to return to school. Her strong desire to learn and continue her education showed just how important school is to her. Now back in school, Justina is extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue learning. She still holds onto her dream of becoming a nurse one day, a goal inspired by her caring heart and desire to help others. With support and encouragement, she now has the chance to move forward with hope and renewed determination. Sponsored by: Phil Vasby

Justina is eight years old, in pre-kindergarten class and live with her grandmother in Gehwee, Liberia. Justina wants to be a nurse and said, “I love saving lives”. In a country where access to healthcare is severely challenged, Liberia is dependent upon the growth and development of youngsters like Justina whose heart for service is already evident. Thanks to GPA amazing sponsors for walking alongside Justina and her dream of becoming a nurse. Sponsored by: Donations from General Funds
