Evon was promoted to the 4th grade this year! Tragically, she lost her mother earlier this year after a brief illness. Despite this heartbreaking loss, Evon remains focused on her education and continues to dream of becoming a lawyer one day. Evon’s dad is really sick and all of the family savings went towards his medications.  Even with this, he is still not well.  This is the sad story Evon’s mother shared with us.  Nine-year-old Evon just wants to go to school.  She is in the second grade and thanks to GPA’s amazing partner network, Evon’s dream of continuing her education is certain.
