In spite of his best efforts, Josiah was retained in 7th grade. His teachers advised Josiah obtains the support of a tutor. It is not clear what circumstances led to his inability to pass but one thing that stood out was Josiah wanted another chance. Thanks to the generous donation from Parker & Michelle Connelly, Josiah has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. He received a double promotion and is now in the 7th grade this year. Josiah still wants to be a computer analyst when he grows up. He continues to live with his mother.

Since the death of Josiah’s father, he has been unable to go to school due to the lack of finances. His interests are telling jokes and he hopes to be a computer analyst when he grows up.
