Wow! Our future car mechanic, Josephine, had a successful school year and is promoted to second grade! In Liberia, it is rare to hear girls dream of excelling in vocations dominated by males. Together, with the support of our amazing sponsors and her extended family network, Josephine’s dream of becoming a mechanic will be realized. Thank you, Pam Albi, for your sponsorship and gift of education.

Thanks to the generous donation from Pam Albi, Josephine has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020-2021 school year. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021-2022 school year. Josephine was kept in her current grade level of 1st grade for the upcoming school year. Josephine still wants to be a car mechanic when she grows up.
