Josephine has moved up to the third grade, holding onto her dream of becoming a mechanic in the future. With a love for math, she approaches her favorite subject with enthusiasm. Josephine’s well-being shines through as she remains healthy and content.

During our conversation, Josephine expressed immense gratitude towards her sponsor and Girl Power for enabling her to attend school. She credits their support as a driving force behind her motivation to excel academically. Josephine continues to reside with her father, supported by his care as she pursues her aspirations.

Wow! Our future car mechanic, Josephine, had a successful school year and is promoted to second grade! In Liberia, it is rare to hear girls dream of excelling in vocations dominated by males.  Together, with the support of our amazing sponsors and her extended family network, Josephine’s dream of becoming a mechanic will be realized. Josephine lives in Liagbala, Liberia with her father who is unemployed with 6 children whom he could not afford to send to school. Her interests are helping her family and she hopes to be a car mechanic when she grows up.
