Joannah is now 12 years old and is repeating the fourth grade this year. According to her teacher, she was sick for a little over a month during the school year, which caused her to fall behind in several of her lessons. Despite her efforts to catch up, she was unable to fully recover her grades, and the teachers decided it would be best for her to remain in the fourth grade to strengthen her academic foundation before moving forward. Although she was disappointed, Joannah continues to be a serious and determined student. When she is healthy and able to attend school, she takes her education to heart and works hard in class. Her love for learning remains strong, and she continues to enjoy math while performing well in English. Joannah still lives with her grandmother, who does her best to support her despite limited resources. Even with health challenges and financial hardship, Joannah remains focused on her future. She continues to dream of becoming a manager one day and is committed to working hard to achieve her goals. This extra year is simply a stepping stone for Joannah. With her determination and renewed strength, she is preparing herself to move forward with confidence.
