September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Jessica Reed, Janet has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 2nd grade this year and still wants to be a radio announcer when she grows up. She continues to live with her aunt.
September 2020: Meet Janet, who has been generously sponsored by Jessica Reed. She is 10 years old and is in the 1st grade this year. She lives in Gehwee, Liberia with her aunt. Her mother died in childbirth and the father has never been a part of her life. Her interests are playing with her wooden doll and she hopes to be a radio announcer when she grows up.
