HERITOR: S447-GBA

September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Scott Heise, Heritor has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020-2021 school year. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021-2022 school year. Heritor was kept in her current grade level of 4th grade for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her mother and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up.

September 2020: Thanks to the generous donation from Scott Heise, Heritor has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the 4th grade this year and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother. She is not looking well and we found out that her little sister is ill.

2019:  Meet Heritor, who has been generously sponsored by Hailee Sundquist. She is 10 years old and is in the 3rd grade this year. Victoria lives in Gbapa, Liberia with her unemployed, widowed mother. This year, Heritor was not going to go to school because her father who was their only financial support passed away from malaria 9 months ago. Their mother is still in a state of confusion and have told the kids they are no longer going to school because she is simply trying to keep them alive by trying to find their daily meal. The principal of the school had asked GPA team to please assist Heritor because she has been one of their top students.  Her interest is reading and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
