Henry: S810-FLO

Henry was promoted to the third grade this year, and he is doing wonderfully. He shared that his favorite subject is English, and his teachers have described him as a very serious and hardworking student. He always arrives on time for school, and his big, beautiful smile lights up the whole room, bringing positivity to everyone around him. Henry’s dedication to his studies and his punctuality have not gone unnoticed by his teachers. They admire his strong work ethic and his ability to stay focused, making him a role model for his classmates. After school, Henry heads home and takes on an important responsibility. He goes to the creek, where he draws about 10 gallons of water each day for his family to use. Despite the hard work at home, Henry remains committed to his education, balancing his responsibilities with determination. We are extremely proud of Henry and all of the hard work he puts into both his school and family responsibilities. Henry is nine years old and in the first grade, He want to be a teacher one day.  He lives with his mother and two siblings.  Henry enjoys his role of sweeping his classroom daily.  He wants to be a teacher one day.  His father abandoned the home three years ago and his mother does subsistence farming to care for the family.  Henry is thankful for the gift of a scholarship.
