HAWA: S589-SEK

September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Charlene Turner, Hawa has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the K-2 grade this year and still wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother’s friend.

September 2020: Meet Hawa, who has been generously sponsored by Charlene Turner. She is 9 years old and is in the K-1 grade this year. She lives in Sehkimpa, Liberia with her mother’s friend.  Since Hawa’s mother could not afford to support Hawa financially, she was given to her mother’s friend. Unfortunatly, that friend is unemployed and cannot affort to send Hawa to school.   Her interests are studying and she hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
