Hanna, a 12-year-old in 5th grade, has demonstrated remarkable determination and leadership. This year, she was not only promoted to the 5th grade but also elected as her class president—a role that highlights her dedication and potential. Since her mother abandoned her, Hanna has been living with her unemployed father and her four siblings. Despite the challenges her family faces, Hanna remains focused on her education and her dream of becoming a doctor. She often speaks about how time is slipping away and how important it is for her to stay in school to achieve her goals. Thanks to the support from Girl Power Africa, Hanna now has the support she needs to continue her education. With her determination and the opportunity provided, she is committed to building a brighter future for herself and her family. Sponsored by: Andrea & Nicole Radosevich

Hanna, an eleven-year-old 4th grader, had been on the Girl Power Africa waiting list for nearly four years. When she heard that the organization was distributing aid near her home, she walked two hours each way to reach the distribution center, hoping to find out if she was sponsored. Unfortunately, upon arrival, she learned that she had not been sponsored this year, and she went home in tears. The next morning, determined and hopeful, she walked another two hours to the center and asked if they could help her go to school. Hanna expressed her dream of becoming a doctor, emphasizing that time was slipping away. She lives with her father and is determined to achieve her goal. Sponsored by: Kage Haeck
