Francis was unable to be promoted this year due to illness, which kept him from attending school regularly. Despite this setback, his teacher describes him as a very serious and dedicated student. Francis has promised Girl Power Africa that he will do his very best to pass this year. At home, Francis is in charge of cleaning both inside and outside the house, as well as hauling water from the creek—a daily routine that takes him about six hours. Even with these responsibilities, he remains committed to his education and is determined to succeed. Francis is grateful for the continued support that allows him to stay in school, and with his hard work and determination, he is focused on making progress this year.
