Blessing is eight years old and in pre-kindergarten class this year. She lives with her mother and five siblings. She is just beginning her education sojourn, thanks to a GPA scholarship. Entering and remaining in school is a tricky venture for many Liberian children. At times families can afford to pay for one semester with hopes of acquiring funds to continue. Oftentimes, children must start, stop, start school again depending upon the financial situation of the parents. Blessing’s mother does subsistence farming and is struggling to provide for her children. Blessing wants to be a doctor one day. Sponsored by: Phil Vasby
