This year, we were unable to meet with this student during school registration, as they were either out of town, sick, or facing circumstances that prevented them from attending. Even so, their school fees were paid, and all of their school materials were given to the school staff to ensure they receive everything as soon as they return.

Because the student was not present on registration day, we were unable to take an updated photo for 2025. Thank you for your understanding and continued support—it truly makes a difference in their life.

Her teacher describes her as both respectful and wise—qualities that shine through in her cheerful demeanor. She arrives each day with a bright smile on her face, uplifting everyone around her.

Meet six-year-old Florence, she lives with her mother and three siblings.  She wants to be a police officer one day.  Her father passed away two months ago and now the family is dealing with the grief of his passing and the stress of their precarious financial situation.  There’s no time to grieve; Florence’s mother must creatively figure out ways to help her family survive.  Florence’s hair was cut very low as a cultural symbol of her identity as a child whose father has died.  Florence and her mother are very thankful for the gift of a scholarship.
