Felicia has been promoted to the third grade! Her dedication and perseverance have paid off, as evidenced by her hard work and successful passage to the next grade level.

Throughout the year, Felicia remained committed to her studies, as reflected in her excellent attendance record, with only one day missed. Such diligence and consistency are commendable traits that speak to her strong work ethic and determination to succeed.

Felicia’s accomplishments are a source of pride for all who know her, highlighting the importance of perseverance and commitment in achieving one’s goals. We applaud her achievements and look forward to witnessing her continued success in the future.

Fourteen-year-old Felecia failed second grade last school year.  The circumstances surrounding her failure were not clear, but GPA is in the business of giving students like Felecia a second chance. We’ll continue to check in on her and get extra tutoring or support, if needed. Felecia was so thankful and asked us to say “Thank You” to her sponsor. Sponsored by: Kathryn Loomans

Meet Felicia, who has been generously sponsored by Larry Gnewuch. She is 10 years old and in Kindergarten-1 this year. She lives in Gbobayee, Liberia with her uncle. Felicia’s father abandoned she and her mother when Felicia was 3 years old. Unfortunately, her mom’s new husband is abusive to Felicia. When her uncle found out about the abuse, he took Felicia to raise her. Unfortunately, the uncle has many children of his own and could not afford to send Felicia to school. She hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
