Favor was promoted to the 4th grade this year and continues to live with her grandfather. Her favorite subject is reading, and she enjoys volunteering in the classroom to read to her peers. According to her teacher, Favor is very hardworking, always on time, and always willing to help in any way she can. Her dedication and helpful attitude make her a valuable member of her class. Favor was promoted to second grade! Her teacher reports that she’s been a great student and very engaged. Her favorite thing to do is to ride her friend’s bicycle. Acquiring a bicycle is no small feat in Liberia where most families live off less than two dollars a day. Favor is really enjoying school and the new friends and experiences. Meet Favor, who has been generously sponsored by Lori Fischer Hall. She is 6 years old and is in the K-2 grade this year. She lives in Gbeleyee Town, Liberia with her grandfather. Her father died recently from a stroke. Her interests are playing with friends and she hopes to be a nurse when she grows up.
