September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Danielle Devlin, Favor has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 1st grade this year and still wants to be a seamstress when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

September 2020: Thanks to the generous donation from Michelle Jone Larson, Favor has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the K-2 grade this year and still wants to be a seamstress when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

September 2019:  Meet Favor, who has been generously sponsored by Michelle Jone Larson. She is 8 years old and is in the K1 this year. Favor lives in Barpa, Liberia with her widowed mother.  Favor’s father died during the Ebola epidemic while he was stationed Ganta City (a town that got hit really hard with the Ebola virus).   Her interests are helping her mom and she hopes to be a seamstress when she grows up.
