September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Meicher†Family†Charitable†Foundation, Kou has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 2nd grade this year and still wants to be a agriculturalist when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.
September 2020: Thanks to the generous donation from Meicher†Family†Charitable†Foundation, Kou has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the 1st grade this year and still wants to be an agriculturalist when she grows up. She was absent during registration due to the death of her father but hr materials were left with administration to be given upon her return. She continues to live with her mother.
2019: Meet Kou, who has been generously sponsored by Ron Spurley and Cassie Jabs. She is 11 years old and is in the K2 this year. Kou lives in Barpa, Liberia with her unemployed single mother who could not afford to send her to school. Her interests are making garden and she hopes to be an agriculturalist when she grows up.
