Faith continues to make positive progress and shared that she successfully passed to the 3rd grade this year. She lives with her mother and grandfather, who face ongoing financial challenges, but she remains motivated and happy to be in school. She helps at home with water and small chores and says that GPA’s support with fees and school supplies has made a big difference for her family. English is her favorite subject, and she dreams of becoming a teacher one day so she can help others learn. Faith is grateful for GPA’s continued support, which allows her to stay in school and keep working toward her goals.

Faith was promoted to the second grade this year, and she’s making great strides in her studies. Her favorite subject this year is science, where she has excelled, earning her highest grades in this subject. Faith is a bit shy and quiet in the classroom, but her teacher has noticed that she is slowly coming out of her shell and gaining a little more confidence as time goes on. Despite her reserved nature, Faith is dedicated to her work. She quietly sits back in class, focused and diligent, always doing her best. Her teacher describes her as a hardworking student who may not speak up much, but her determination and effort are clear in everything she does. We are proud of the progress Faith is making, both academically and personally. With each passing day, she’s growing more confident, and we look forward to seeing her continue to blossom in the years to come! Sponsored by: Anonymous

Please meet five-year-old Faith who lives with her mother and grandfather in his extended family household in Suakazue, Nimba County. Faith’s grandfather has a large farm and beyond providing a meal a day for his family, the farming activities also pay for Faith’s three older siblings schooling. At five years old it was not a priority for this fiscally lean household to pay what was required for Faith to begin her educational journey. GPA was there to ensure Faith enrolled in her age-appropriate grade level of kindergarten-2 class. Sponsored by: Donations from General Funds
