Esther was promoted to the ninth grade this year, and she is extremely proud of herself for reaching this important milestone. Her promotion reflects not only her academic ability but also her discipline and commitment to staying focused on her education. When asked about her biggest goal, Esther shared that she is determined to graduate from high school without becoming pregnant. She understands the challenges many girls face and is committed to making choices that will allow her to complete her education and pursue her future dreams. Thanks to the generous donation from Cheryl Larges, Esther has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received a double promotion and is now in the 4th grade this year. She still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She continues to live with her aunt.

Meet Esther, who has been generously sponsored by Cheryl Larges. She is 10 years old and in the 2nd grade this year. She lives in Gbayden, Liberia with her aunt.  Princess’ mother died during childbirth when Esther was 7 years old. After the death of her mother, Esther’s aunt took her in.  Her interests are studying, and she hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
