Comfort was promoted to kindergarten-1 and her favorite thing to do in class is reciting numbers. She is looking forward to a new school year. Thanks to the generous donation from Lori Fischer Hall, Comfort has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020/2021 school year. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021/2022 school year. Comfort was kept in her current grade level of ABC grade for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her mother and still wants to be a president when she grows up.

Meet Comfort, who has been generously sponsored by Lori Fischer Hall. She is 6 years old and is going to school for the first time in ABC. She lives in Gbayden, Liberia with her widowed mother. Comfort’s father died 18 months ago in a motorcycle accident when he was coming from work. Her interests are playing, and she hopes to be a president when she grows up.
