September 2020– Thanks to the generous donation from Susan Studz, Emmanuel has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. He is in the 1st grade this year and still wants to work in a hospital when he grows up. He continues to live with his aunt. (Please Note:  Emmanuel was out of town on the day of the 2020-2021 school distribution. His materials were left with the school authorities).

2019:  Meet Emmanuel, who has been generously sponsored by Kerry Graskewicz. He is 8 years old and is in the K2 this year.  Emmanuel lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with his single and unemployed aunt.  Emmanuel’s father walked out of their home and moved in with another woman about 4 years ago. Last January, Emmanuel’s mother could no longer handle the stress of life. She dropped Emmanuel off at his aunt’s house stating that she’ll be right back. But she has not been heard from since she left in January, 2019.  He hopes to work in a hospital when he grows up.
