EMMANUEL: S1036-NEW

Emmanuel is currently in Grade 1 and is happy to be back in school after facing health challenges that caused him to miss time last year. Math is his favorite subject, and his teacher shared that he was doing well before his illness. With GPA’s support providing school fees and materials, Emmanuel has returned motivated and focused. Emmanuel is 12 years old and is currently in the first grade. He lives with his stepmother after his parents’ divorce. Emmanuel had lived with his father until his father also divorced his new stepmother, leaving Emmanuel behind. His stepmother has six children of her own, and despite her best efforts, she has been unable to afford to send Emmanuel to school regularly. Emmanuel is a kind-hearted child who loves helping his stepmother cook meals for the family, and despite the difficulties, he remains hopeful for a brighter future and hopes to be a teacher when he grows up.
