Dorris is promoted to fourth grade! Her teacher reports she’s a pleasure to have in class, has a good attitude, and tries hard in school. She still lives with her mother and wants to be a doctor one day. Sponsored by: Mary Struckmeyer

Thanks to the generous donation from Mary Struckmeyer, Dorris has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 2nd grade this year and still wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother.

Meet Dorris, who has been generously sponsored by Mary Struckmeyer.  She is 9 years old and is in the 1st grade this year. She lives in Zolowee, Liberia with her widowed mother.  Dorris father passed away when she was 4 years old. Her mother is hardly home to take care of Dorris.  Her interests are eating and she hopes to be a medical doctor when she grows up.
