Dorcas has been promoted to the first grade! She continues to live with her mother and still dreams of becoming a police officer one day. Seven-year-old Dorcas enjoys washing dishes, playing with her dolls and friends.  She is in kindergarten-2 class and wants to be a police officer one day.  Dorcas’ father is ill and cannot continue to work with the family’s subsistence farming activities.  Her mother is trying her best to sustain support for food and welcomes with joy the gift of a scholarship for Dorcas.
