CHRISTINA: S386-KAR

September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Tina Hinchley, Christine has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020-2021 school year. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021-2022 school year. Christine was kept in her current grade level of 4th grade for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her uncle and still wants to be a beautician when she grows up.

September 2020: Thanks to the generous donation from Tina Hinchley, Christina has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the 4th grade this year and still wants to be a beautician when she grows up. She continues to live with her uncle.

2019:  Meet Christina, who has been generously sponsored by Kimberly Walker. She is 13 years old and is in the 3rd grade this year.  Christina lives in Karla, Liberia with her uncle.  Christine’s mother had abandoned her when she was about 2 years old. Her father whom she was living with passed away when she was 6 years old. Christina’s uncle took her to raise. However, that uncle has 4 children of his own and could not afford to send Christina to school on a regular basis.  Her interests are braiding hair and she hopes to be a beautician when she grows up.
