September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Farhat Bhuiyan, Blessing has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 2nd grade this year and still wants to be a nurse when she grows up. She continues to live with her uncle.
September 2020: Meet Blessing, who has been generously sponsored by Farhat Bhuiyan. She is 9 years old and is in the 1st grade this year. She lives in Vehyipa, Liberia with her uncle. Blessing’s mother has 3 children with 3 different men who are not part of the children’s lives. Blessing was given to her uncle to help her with her educational needs. Unfortunatly, the uncle has 5 children of his own and has been unable to send Blessing to school on a regular basis. Her interests are cooking and she hopes to be a nurse when she grows up.
