Thanks to the generous donation from Phil Vasby, Blessing has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the 3rd grade this year and still wants to be a businesswoman when she grows up. She continues to live with her grandmother. (Please Note: Blessing was out of town on the day of the 2020/2021 school distribution. Her materials were left with the school authorities).

Meet Blessing, who has been generously sponsored by Karyn Behn. She is 10 years old and is in the 2nd grade this year. Blessing lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with her grandmother who is unemployed but goes from various homes asking to wash their clothes for her and Lydia to buy food. After the death of Blessing’s father four years ago, her mother had given Blessing to her father’s mother as she could not afford to support all three of her children. Her interests are washing clothes and she hopes to be a business woman when she grows up.
