Fifteen-year-old Billine was promoted to 4th grade! Her favorite parts about school is reading, writing, and socializing with her friends. During our interview, she was very thankful for her sponsorship. She still wants to be a seamstress one day and continue to live with her father. Sponsored by: Barbara Ernst
Thanks to the generous donation from Barbara Ernst, Billine has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She was promoted to the 3rd grade this year and still wants to be a seamstress when she grows up. Her teacher reports her grades are good and she performs well on her lessons. She continues to live with her father.
Meet Billine, who has been generously sponsored by Diane & Chris Reuter. She is 12 years old and is in the 1st grade this year. Billine lives in Sanniquellie, Liberia with her father. Billine’s mother abandoned her with her father and really doesn’t want anything to do with them. The father is unemployed and has 5 other children to support. He has not been able to send Billine to school on a regular basis. She hopes to be a seamstress when she grows up.
