Nineteen year old Alice was promoted to eleventh grade! She still dreams of becoming a nurse one day. She continues to live with her mother and enjoys helping her mother to take care of her younger siblings, cooking, and braiding hair. She’s looking forward to being a senior next year!

Thanks to the generous donation from Jessica Reed, Alice has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She is in the 8th grade this year. It was brought to the attention of GPA that her father recently died from a tragic car accident. She still wants to be a nurse when she grows up. She continues to live with her mother. (Unfortunately, Alice’s father died in a tragic car accident on December 25, 2019 while coming home from his brother’s funeral).

She told Girl Power Africa: “my parents don’t have money to send me to school”. Her interests are helping her mom and going to school. She hopes to be a nurse when she grows up.
